National Healthy School Status Award

Churchtown Primary School gained National Healthy School Status Award in 2006 and are now part of the National Annual Review to keep raising standards in PSHEE.

The four areas covered are PSHE, Physiclal Activity, Healthy Eating and SEAL.
Our Annual Review was submitted in July 2010 and is renewed every year.
We are looking to our next challenge...Healthy Schools Enhanced Status.
Our Healthy School Reps meet to discuss ways in which we can improve the delivery of PSHE during the year in the form of many initiatives and competitions.
They have many good ideas. Their latest enterprise is selling fruit from a fruit cart every Tuesday so that all children can have a snack at morning break.
