Last week, Year 3 transformed into an Airport to signal the start of our new topic for this half term ‘The Great around the World Balloon Race’. The children went through the four key parts of an airport before boarding the short flight CHU94 to Paris. They had to check in, go through airport security, have their baggage weighed and checked, before finally relaxing in the airport lounge before departure.
On Wednesday 22nd March a group of Year 5 pupils took part in La Festival - a celebration of primary language learning, held at Greenbank High School.
At the start of the Easter holidays, Southport Football Club invited 4 of our pupils to be mascots and a number of our Year 5 and 6 footballers to play at half time, during their league match against Guiseley FC.
Friday 24th March, the sun was shining and the farmers market was ready and waiting to welcome our children and families. New stall holders were making their debut and our regulars were continuing to support us.
