A Christmas Carol
Year 5 were fortunate enough to watch an exhilerating performance of 'A Christmas Carol' performed by 'Tinygiants', on Wednesday afternoon this week.
‘Tinygiants' performed sensationally for a second time at Churchtown in ‘A Christmas Carol, keeping the children gripped with fright as the church bells clanged to the arrival of a miserable, ‘Bah humbug’ Mr. Scrooge! The ghosts of Christmas past, present and future presented themselves eerily around the stage telling the story of the frightful, callous behaviour of Mr. Ebeneezer Scrooge.
A jovial audience from year 5 enjoyed seeing the novel, which they have been studying, turn to life on the stage and Emily Blackhurst and Noah Grills commented, "It was funny, the stage setting was fabulous and I like how the 3 characters took on more than one part. They acted it brilliantly and made you believe they really were the characters!’ Noah continued, " I like how they made ‘twists from it that were different from the book! “
