The Competition Heats Up!

After three days of our charity week the team challenges are well and truly under way!

On Monday, Today, many classes watched on the playground as SMT, teachers, TAs and Year 6 Sports Ambassadors battled it out in a human version of table football! Many goals were scored and the rules were (mostly!) followed carefully. However in the end, the scores were as follows:

Year 6 Sports Ambassadors - 1st place (4 points)

Teaching Assistants - 2nd place (3 points)

Teachers - 3rd place (2 points)

Senior Management Team - 4th place (1 point)

Our second event was a fierce game of dodgeball! Once again, the competitiveness from particular players was unmissable  as children and staff battled for 1st place. After several games, the results were as follows:

After several games, the scores from today are outlined below:

Year 6 Sports Ambassadors - 1st place (4 points)
Senior Management Team - 2nd place (3 points)
Teachers - 3rd place (2 point)
Teaching Assistants - 4th place (1 points)

With everything still to play for, all four teams met again today to participate in an obstacle relay race. The competitors needed to complete various tasks such as running ladders, balancing along a beam, spinning around a target and balancing with a bean bag on their head! To finish this off, each competitor also had a puzzle piece that they need to stick onto a board at the end of their leg.

The results at the end of this event were as follows:

Teachers - 1st place (4 points)
Senior Management Team - 2nd place (3 points)
Teaching Assistants - 3rd place (2 point)
Year 6 Sports Ambassadors - 4th place (1 points)

This means that after the three events, the total scores are as follows:

1. Year 6 Sports Ambassadors - 1st place (9 points)

2. Teachers - 3rd place (8 points)

3. Senior Management Team - 4th place (7 points)

4. Teaching Assistants - 2nd place (6 points)

Although these particular battles are over, the war has not yet been won!
