#HelloYellow World Mental Health Day
Say Hello to Yellow for World Mental Health - Tuesday 10th October
To show our support for World Mental Health Day, we would like to spread the joy by wearing yellow! We would like children to come into school wearing something yellow in addition to their uniform. This could be anything from a yellow bowtie, yellow socks or even your yellow school polo shirt – anything yellow! Wearing something yellow on Tuesday 10th October will help spread the word that, whatever we are going through, we can talk to someone if we are struggling to cope.
Our newly nominated Year 4 and Year 5 Wellbeing-Champions will be hosting the day along with PSHE Subject Leader, Miss Morris and PE Subject Leader Miss Lucas. Throughout the day children will be taking part in lots of engaging activities, which will link to our Mental Health Day including mindfulness, training our growth mind-sets, random acts of kindness, gratitude time and lots of other engaging activities linked to positivity.
A morning Wake and Shake will also be held on the morning of the day, further information will be given closer to the time. Look out for more information on the school newsletter.
