Y5 Making Memories

On Wednesday 20th September, over 90 pupils from Year 5 embarked on their adventure to Robinwood.

The children had three active days full of fun and challenging activities including canoeing, rock climbing, the giant swing and even trying to escape the piranha pool! Grit, resilience, determination, patience, problem solving and teamwork were amongst many skills each child worked on throughout their group activities. Many children faced fears, such as, a fear of heights. We were really proud, when children pushed themselves and had a go and even prouder when we saw others encouraging them, supporting them and talking about growth mindsets!

'All the children were a credit to Churchtown Primary School and I was very pleased to attend such a wonderful Robinwood experience,' Miss Lucas

Photographs of the trip will soon be available to access via our SmugMug account. We will inform parents and carers when this is accessible.
