Behaviour Awareness Week 2017

Behaviour Awareness Week 2017

The theme for this years Behaviour Awareness Week has been 'All Different, All Equal'. The aim of this years theme has been to empower our children to celebrate what makes them, and others, unique! We have also wanted to help our children to understand how important it is that every child feels valued and included in school. Feeling that they are able to be themselves, without fear of 'bullying'. In an effort to celebrate our uniqueness as individuals, and as a school, we held our very own Odd Socks Day. Pupils and staff across the school wore odd socks to celebrate why it's important to be yourself and accept your uniquness.

KS2 were visited by Southport Schools' Worker Trust, who delivered an enthusiastic assembly where the children were able to get involved. In other year groups, such as 3L and RH, they created some beautiful art work to celebrate their uniqueness and encompassed the whole week with the slogan:

'We are each unique and beautiful, but together we are a masterpiece!
