Boccia Brilliance

On Friday 8th December 2017, 3 pupils from Year 4 and 3 pupils from Year 5 represented Churchtown Primary School in the local School Games boccia competition at Stanley High School.

The children had a wonderful afternoon and found a love for the inclusive sport called boccia. In boccia, the aim of the game is to roll your team ball and be the closest to the target. Lots of skill, technique and tactical game play was needed throughout the competition. Well done boys.  Thank you to Mrs Bennett, Mrs Bradshaw and Mrs Healy.
