Science Workshops at Kew Woods

This week a small group of children from Years 2, 4 and 5 attended a Science workshop at Kew Woods Primary school.

The day involved lots of practical science, exploring many aspects of Science, including; forces, solids, liquids and gases, floating and sinking and chromatography. We carried out experiments such as inflating a balloon using lemonade and how to make an egg float! The children worked on explaining what they observed using scientific reasoning and vocabulary. A fun day was had by all.
