Meols Cop Dance Festival

On Wednesday and Thursday evening, Churchtown Primary School were participants in the Meols Cop Dance Festival.

The festival was an opportunity for local Primary schools to work alongside the Meols Cop students to create dances inspired by film. As you can see from our lovely costumes Churchtown's film was the Wizard of Oz. The audience was treated to fantastic performances from local school in Sefton and were inspired by Meols Cop High School pupils from Year 8 to Year 11 GCSE performers.

When Churchtown took to the stage the audience was treated to a fantastic performance. The audience along with Mrs Wilson, Miss Morris and Miss Morris were absolutely stunned by their talent! Mrs Wilson, who came along to watch the Children on the first night said, "The group were amazing, the effort and energy displayed by all of the children was fantastic … and the roof came off the hall at the end, the cheering and clapping was deafening!!"

We are all immensely proud of all the children involved - Well done!
