Children's University Graduations

Children in Year 2 and Year 6 who had achieved above the required credits threshold, were invited to attend a graduation ceremony at Edge Hill.

Amelia, Jack, Jessica and Daniel all read out their speeches to packed lecture theatres. The graduations are a wonderful way of celebrating the time and energy that children have put into learning, outside of school hours. From swimming, dance and rugby, to trips to Martin Mere and museums, Children's University aims to inspire all children to learn beyond the classroom. It is not too late to get involved, you can pick up a learning passport from the school office, and check out their website:

A big congratulations to all the children who attended. Finlay Dale was awarded a further trophy, the Michael Neophytou award, for obtaining the most credits out of all the children in Sefton. Well done, Finlay! A big "thank you" to the parents, too, who tirelessly transport children to after school clubs.
