One Step Closer To League Win

7-2 Win at Larkfield mean A-team edge closer to becoming League Champions!

The A-team made the short journey to Larkfield tonight to play their penultimate league match of the season. Having won every match so far this season, a win tonight would mean they could finish no worse than joint top on points.

Having had a couple of weeks off, they took a few minutes to find their rhythm and it wasn't helped by the pitch being both small and fast. After the first 15 minutes, it was level pegging at 1-1 and Larkfield had had more chances. However, two thirds remained and the team started communicating better, winning the ball more frequently, and passing more effectively and it wasn't long before we were in the lead. Half an hour of steady improvement later, and we were winning 7-2. Well done.

Same again tomorrow in the Duddy Shield please boys!
