Churchtown's Charity Week is returning!

Due to its outstanding success last year, Churchtown Primary School will once again be holding a charity week that will raise for money for the Community Link Foundation and other charities. You can see the staff music video that started it all below!

In case you have forgotten, last year's event took part over a whole week and was reported in local press, with many celebrities tweeting about it on Twitter!  We named the week ‘Do Something Funny For Money’ and kicked it off with a staff music video to Let’s Get Ready To Rumble. You can still watch it on our Youtube channel by clicking here.

We hosted a week's worth of fun, team challenges for all the children to watch (including a Grand National and a human version of Hungry Hippos!) and on the penultimate day, the whole school took part in a fancy-dress, danceathon on the playground that lasted all day! In total, the event raised a over £1548.74 for Comic Relief and the Community Link Foundation.

Let's see if we can beat that total this year! The second 'Do Something Funny For Money' event commences on Monday 16th May. Please make sure your child brought home a letter last week regarding the event.
